Chinese Speaking Working Group

Membership of the Chinese Speaking Working Group (CSWG) is open to all Chinese speaking members of the ISFG. There will be no other membership fee in addition to that payable to the ISFG. Aims of the Chinese Speaking Working Group are:

• exchange of experiences, working on quality control, and stimulation of cooperation between the members,
• sharing scientific knowledge and findings in the field of interest,
• development of educational opportunities in forensic genetics in China.

The board administering the CSWG is responsible for organizing the meetings of the group. In the present situation, the board consists of ISFG members who are also members of the Committee of Forensic Genetics of the Chinese Association of Forensic Sciences. The board represents the working group.

Meeting announcement

A celebration will be held in Tai Yuan, Shan Xi province on Oct 11, 2008. The ceremony will celebrate the Conference on Education for Forensic Medicine, which was first held 25 years ago, and which laid the foundation for higher education in Forensic Medicine in China. This celebration will be jointly organized by the Chinese Association of Education for Forensic Medicine, the Guiding Committee of Education for Forensic Medicine of the Ministry of Education, and the Chinese Speaking Working Group of the ISFG.
