French Speaking Working Group

The French Speaking Working Group (FSWG) of the ISFG has 50 members from 20 laboratories from France, Belgium, Switzerland and Quebec (Canada). All the members work in a French speaking forensic lab and work in genetic identification of stains and individuals. The group meets once a year. A specific forum on a Canadian web site has been created; access only available to members. Objectives of the FSWG include:

  • to continue the collaborative exercises,
  • to consider the problems related to the future accreditation of the laboratories (ISO 17025),
  • to exchange information about casework experience.

2009 Meeting location:

The next meeting of the French Speaking Working Group will take place May 14th - 15th, 2009 in Liege, Belgium. Please continue to check this site for updates.
